Use Google Ads to implement paid search and display ad campaigns to boost your ticket sales, track performance, and create remarketing lists for future campaigns by integrating the Google Ads Global Pixel code with your event listings.
Get in front of more potential customers as they’re searching for businesses similar to yours on Google Search. Google Ads is entirely customisable and works for events of all sizes. Create a goal, choose where you want to advertise, create your message, set a budget, and go live!
To set up your Google Ads integration, please follow the instructions below.
Step 1
Create a new Google Ads account if you do not already have one:

Create a new Ads pixel to track which ads, keywords, and campaigns are contributing to your ticket sales.
- Log in to Google Ads
- Select the wrench icon titled “Tools & Settings” on the top navigation bar
- Select “Conversions” under the “Measurement” tab
- Select the blue “+” sign in the upper left corner
- Select “Website”
- Follow the on-screen instructions and fill in the fields:
- Category: Select “Purchase”
- Conversion name: Leap Ticket Sales

Value: Select “Use different values for each conversion”
- Default value: Enter “1”
- Count: Select “Every”
- Conversion window: Keep default settings
- View-through conversion window: Keep default settings
- Include in “Conversions”: Keep default settings
- Attribution model: Keep default settings
- Select “Create and Continue”

Step 3
Implement the global site tag on all pages of your website.
- Select “Install the tag yourself”
- Select “The global site tag isn’t installed on all your HTML pages”
- Select “Download snippet” under global site tag
- Send the global site tag text file you downloaded to your webmaster to implement it in the header of all pages of your website

Step 4
Retrieve your Gtag ID from the Event Snippet located under the global site tag.
- Copy only the Gtag ('event', 'conversion') from the Event Snippet code
- Locate the “send_to” line in the tag and copy only the ID within the single quotation marks
Example: In the screenshot below, you would copy only: AW-105826847/89p-CI_t6XQr83P-AM

Step 5
Once you have your Gtag ID, you will need to place it in the admin.
- Log in to admin > Marketing > Marketing Accounts > Google Ads Global
- Paste your Gtag ID in the field box
- Select “Save”
